This past weekend we went to Isaac’s mom’s house in La Grande for the long holiday. It was a lot of fun. Kaleigh had a blast there. On Saturday, she got her first manicure. She picked her own polish and can we all guess what color she picked??? Pink, of course! Then on Sunday, we went fishing up at Morgan Lake. She caught her first fish. It was about 8in. long. She was sooo excited and she reeled the whole thing in all by herself. Then we went horse back riding. She absolutely loved that!!!! She wanted to ride all by herself. Next summer she will be big enough to ride with grandma holding onto the rope. She rode Sage (the horse) once with Daddy and once with Grandma Deborah. Kaleigh made Papa Chris be a train and toot the train whistle. She cracked up laughing. We had a wonderful holiday weekend and summer vacations have officially come to an end.
