First day of Preschool

Today was Kaleigh's first day of Preschool. Wow...what a big girl she was. She had told me last night that she wanted to wear a ponytail in her hair for today. That was the finishing touch of the outfit. When we got to the school, there were 2 little girls, a parent, and the teacher. She went right in and started talking to the teacher. She looked like she was a pro at this, did not even look scared at all. At first, all the kids got to play together. She played on the slide, on the rocking horse, with the play kitchen, and the instruments. She and Colin played with the kitchen together and then a couple of other little girls came over too. Then it was sit down and have story time. She sat for a few minutes and then got up to play again like all of the other children. She also got to trace her leg, play outside, eat snack, and get stickers for being a good girl. And at the end, it was kind of cute..all of the kids sit on the carpet and say goodbye to each child as a class. I think she enjoyed it...a few obsticles to overcome...like...other kids sharing with her. At least she was not shy and only played with herself. YAY!!!! I am soooo proud of you, Kaleigh.
